Domestic

Here at Stuart Penrose Electrical Services, Stuart will ensure that any work undertaken in domestic dwellings is carried out with an absolute minimum amount of disturbance to the property owner/resident to ensure a professional job is carried out in a clean and tidy manner at all times.

Electrical Testing

Electrical testing is critical to the safety of people and plant; electrical testing will ensure continuous safe operation of your plant and help achieve maximum plant availability.

Testing to a wide range of plant includes; fault finding, earth loop impedance testing, insulation testing, continuity testing, earth electrode testing.

Portable Appliance Testing

PAT is vital to protect your business and its employees. We therefore aim to give the best service available to enable our customers to fulfil their obligations with regard to equipment safety.

Electrical safety obligations are not limited to businesses, of course; landlords are also responsible for ensuring the regular testing of all appliances they provide for their tenants. All portable appliances with mains plug need testing. This includes computers, monitors and peripherals requiring mains power server equipment and network appliances including Audio and telephone equipment requiring mains power, kettles, microwave ovens and other kitchen appliances such as Vacuum cleaners, floor polishers wet/dry cleaners and catering equipment and appliances as well as extension leads.

We use the latest PAT equipment to test both 230V and 110V appliances and as specialists in PAT testing, we are best placed to help you comply with your legal obligations. All our testing is carried out in accordance with The Institute of Electrical Engineers' (IEE) code of practice.

All our electricians are fully trained in test and inspection and certification in domestic, commercial and industrial environments.

Our free advice and recommendations will ensure that you can provide a safe electrical installation and an electrical compliance certificate to protect against damage to property and safeguard employees and the public.

Hazardous Areas

We can perform electrical maintenance and installation services in a variety of petrochemical environments from Gas Terminals to Offshore Production platforms. Maintenance and inspection of electrical, instrument circuits is carried out to BSEN60079 standard utilising Compex Ex01-Ex04 units training. These maintenance inspection types cover visual, close and detailed inspections.

All electric condition/testing and inspection reports are completed to BS60079 standards.
